Q. What is laser?

A. LASER is an acronym for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. By definition, laser light is monochromatic, coherent and collimated.

Q. What is low level laser?

A. Unlike high powered lasers which use heat to destroy tissues, cold (or low level) lasers have an output below 10 mW and do not have a thermal effect on tissues. They stimulate optimal biological functions of the tissues.

Q. How does it work at the cellular level?

A. Photonic energy is absorbed by the photo-acceptor sites on the cell membrane which trigger a secondary messenger to initiate a cascade of intracellular signals that initiate, inhibit or accelerate biological processes such as wound healing, reducing inflammation and pain management. It also promotes better blood circulation. 

A. The RadiantLife HRx is combed through the entire scalp. The comb adaptors willl help part the hair so that the laser has a clear path to the scalp surface. After each beep, move the brush to the next area until the whole scalp is covered. Each treatment session typically takes 15 minutes. For the first 3 months, 3 to 4 sessions per week are advised. Subsequently, 2 sessions per week are advised for maintenance.

Q. Can I use RadiantLife HRx everyday?

A. Some people experienced quicker results by using it everyday. However, we do not recommend using it more than once a day everyday.

Q. Is it safe?

This is a class 3R (3a US ANSI Standard)) device which means it is classified “non significant risk” and is safe for home use. However, you are advised not to look directly into the light or the light reflected off a mirror. To date, there have been no reported adverse effects of low level lasers. RadiantLife HRx complies to CE requirements, which means that it is meets EC safety standards. Q. Can I use it together with my other hair loss treatments?

Q. What results can I expect?

A. One of the early signs is that you should notice less hair loss, ie. less hair on the bed, bathroom drains, etc. Over the next few months, the hair will appear thicker, fuller and have a healthier appearance. Those with advanced hair loss, with hair follicles already gone, will not benefit as much.

Q. What will happen if I stop using the hair laser comb?

A. Over time, the state of your hair may regress to where it was before you started using the laser comb.
